Oakland Athletics pitcher A.J. Puk has reportedly been throwing bullpen sessions for months and has completely recovered from his strained shoulder.
Puk appeared in just two games before straining his shoulder during spring training, but the delayed season has given him plenty of time to rehab the injury.
Injuries have delayed Puk's development in the major leagues, but he was able to pitch 11.1 innings towards the end of the 2019 season. He threw 13 strikeouts in those innings and threw for a 3.18 ERA, and should be a player to watch this season.
