According to WEEI.com, utility-man Steven Pearce has retired from professional baseball.
Pearce will officially end his Major League Baseball career after playing 766 games with eight total teams. The 37-year old had by far his overall season in 2014 with the Orioles, recording 5.8 Wins Above Replacement, 21 home runs, and 49 RBI.
In 2256 career at-bats, Pearce produced a .254 batting average with 91 home runs and 303 RBI.
