On MLB Network Radio, infielder Mark Reynolds announced his retirement from baseball after playing 13 seasons.

Reynolds will retire from Major League Baseball after logging 5432 career at-bats with eight different clubs. According to Reynolds, the veteran is ready to move on especially when considering MLB's current situation. "I'm retired, actually," said the 36-year old when asked about his status for next season. "With all this going on with everything, I'm enjoying spending time with my family and it's time for me to move on and find something else to do."

In 1688 total games, Reynolds produced a .236 average with 298 home runs and 871 RBI.
