Major League Baseball is expected to suspend Grapefruit League play on Thursday, according to Jon Heyman of MLB Network.
Cactus League play will presumably also be suspended as MLB responds to growing coronavirus concerns. Opening Day is currently scheduled to begin on March 26, but the start of the season could be delayed. Heyman adds that teams will be allowed to continue practicing at their spring locations.
