Milwaukee Brewers reliever Adrian Houser (thumb) said his exit from a B game on Monday was "just a precautionary move."
Houser was pulled after 2 1/3 innings on Monday due to "fatigue" and "tightness" in his right thumb. It sounds like he should be fine for Opening Day. Houser posted a 3.72 ERA with 117 strikeouts and 37 walks in his first full season in the bigs last year.
numberFire's models project Houser for a 4.05 ERA and 1.39 WHIP with 147 strikeouts, 58 walks, and 8 wins this season.
