New York Mets second baseman Jed Lowrie was a full participant in Monday's practice.
According to manager Luis Rojas, Lowrie took part in all of Monday's activities including live batting practice and taking ground balls. Health will be key for the 35-year old after reporting to camp in a knee brace and losing most of last season to multiple injuries.
Expect Lowrie to see playing time as a versatile utility-man or infielder. In his last full season in 2018, Lowrie produced a .267 average with 23 home runs and 99 RBI.
