Jeremy Hellickson will retire from Major League Baseball after suffering several shoulder injuries.
Hellickson will end his Major League career after playing ten seasons with five different teams. The veteran right-hander will most notably be known for winning the 2011 Rookie of the Year award after registering a 2.95 ERA and 117 strikeouts in 29 starts.
In 1269.1 career innings pitched, Hellickson produced a 4.13 ERA and 929 strikeouts.
