Aaron Hicks starting for Yankees in ALCS Game 3 Tuesday afternoon
New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Hicks is playing center field and batting ninth in Game 3 of the American League Championship Series versus right-hander Gerrit Cole and the Houston Astros on Tuesday afternoon.
Giancarlo Stanton is sidelined with a groin strain for a second straight game, so Hicks is joining Brett Gardner and Aaron Judge in the outfield. He made a pinch-hit appearance in Game 2 on Sunday in his first action since landing on the injured list August 3 due to a right elbow injury. Cameron Maybin is available off the Yankees' bench Tuesday afternoon.
numberFire's models project Hicks for 7.8 FanDuel points in Game 3, with a price tag of $2,500. The Yankees are home underdogs with an implied total of 3.42 runs.
