Patrick Corbin to start for Nationals versus Dodgers in NLDS Game 1
Washington Nationals pitcher Patrick Corbin will start in Game 1 of the National League Division Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Thursday, per manager Dave Martinez.
Corbin will get the nod after Max Scherzer and Stephen Strasburg both pitched in the Nationals' win over the Milwaukee Brewers in the National League Wild Card Game on Tuesday night. The 30-year-old left-hander went 14-7 in 33 starts in the regular season.
Corbin recorded a 3.25 ERA and 1.18 WHIP with 238 strikeouts and 70 walks over 202 innings.
