Austin Riley not in Braves' Friday lineup

Atlanta Braves infielder Austin Riley is sitting on Friday in the team's game against the New York Mets.

What It Means:

The Braves are back in a National League ballpark, so they'll lose their designated hitter spot. As such, Riley will head to the bench against Mets starter Marcus Stroman. Francisco Cervelli and Adam Duvall will also head to the bench.

In 294 plate appearances this season, Riley has a .229 batting average and a .758 OPS.
