Detroit Tigers starting pitcher Tyler Alexander has been scratched from his Friday start against the Chicago White Sox.
There is inclement weather in Chicago, and the Tigers are being cautious with their starter. In his place, Matt Hall will open in the first game of the doubleheader.
In 48.7 innings pitched this season, Alexander has a 1-4 record with a 4.99 ERA and a 1.36 WHIP.
