Chicago White Sox outfielder Leury Garcia (shoulder) is not starting in Thursday's series finale against the Cleveland Indians.
Ryan Cordell is replacing Garcia in left field and hitting ninth after Garcia left Wednesday's contest against the Indians with right shoulder soreness. Consider him day-to-day.
Garcia is hitting .279 with 8 homers, 39 RBI, 15 steals, and 93 scores in 609 plate appearances (138 games) for the White Sox this season.
