Justin Turner sidelined again Thursday due to back issue
Los Angeles Dodgers third baseman Justin Turner is not starting on Thursday due to back tightness.
This is Turner's second straight absence. He's also been dealing with an ankle injury, so the Dodgers may hold the third baseman out until the postseason to let him heal. Jedd Gyorko is starting on third base for the Dodgers on Thursday.
Turner has hit .290/.372/.509 with 27 homers, 67 RBI, and 80 scores in 549 plate appearances (135 games) this season.
