Texas Rangers infielder Nick Solak is not starting in Friday's lineup against the Oakland Athletics.
Solak will receive a breather with Danny Santana moving to third base and Nomar Mazara starting in right field.
In 94 at-bats this season, Solak is hitting .309 with 4 home runs and 15 RBI.
