Diamondbacks' Domingo Leyba making first MLB start Wednesday
Arizona Diamondbacks infielder Domingo Leyba is starting in Wednesday afternoon's series finale versus right-hander Sandy Alcantara and the Miami Marlins.
Leyba is at shortstop and hitting sixth in his first start in the majors. He's gone 3-for-13 (.231) through 14 appearances for the Diamondbacks. Tim Locastro is available off the bench.
numberFire's models expect Leyba to score 3.9 FanDuel points on Wednesday. He's priced at $2,000. The Diamondbacks' lineup carries some potential upside on Wednesday, with an implied total of 4.96 runs as favorites in a batter-friendly ballpark.
