St. Louis Cardinals center fielder Harrison Bader is not starting in Wednesday afternoon's series finale versus right-hander Max Scherzer and the Washington Nationals.
Bader is taking a seat after going 1-for-8 with 5 strikeouts in the first two games of this series. Dexter Fowler is moving to center field Wednesday in Bader's place.
Bader is batting .211/321/.370 with 10 homers, 35 RBI, 11 steals, and 49 scores in 362 plate appearances (117 games) this season.
