Kansas City Royals outfielder Brett Phillips is not starting in Tuesday's matchup against the Oakland Athletics.
Phillips will head to the bench with Ryan McBroom in tonight's starting lineup.
In 52 at-bats this season, Phillips is hitting .173 with two home runs and five RBI.
