Chicago White Sox infielder Danny Mendick is not starting in Saturday's game against the Seattle Mariners.
Mendick will rest against Seattle with Yolmer Sanchez making the start at second base.
In 21 at-bats this season, Mendick is hitting .333 with one home run and two RBI.
