Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Avisail Garcia (glute) is not starting on Wednesday versus right-hander Ariel Jurado and the Texas Rangers.
Garcia is considered day-to-day, per manager Kevin Cash, after aggravating a glute strain issue on Tuesday that he originally suffered Sunday. Kean Wong is covering right field for the Rays on Wednesday.
Garcia is hitting .274/.327/.456 with 19 homers, 66 RBI, 10 steals, and 58 scores in 496 plate appearances this season.
