Chicago Cubs catcher Victor Caratini is not starting in Tuesday's game agains the San Diego Padres.
Caratini will head to the bench with Willson Contreras starting behind the plate.
In 200 at-bats this season, Caratini is hitting .275 with 9 home runs and 29 RBI.
