Mike Tauchman (calf) out Monday for Yankees
New York Yankees outfielder Mike Tauchman (calf) is not starting in Monday's series finale against left-hander Eduardo Rodriguez and the Boston Red Sox.
What It Means:
Tauchman was pulled from Sunday night's game at Fenway Park with a left calf issue. He returned to New York for an MRI on Monday, but the Yankees haven't provided an update. Tauchman hit a 2-run home run and a double on Sunday before leaving. Cameron Maybin is replacing Tauchman in left field for the Yankees on Monday.
Tauchman is hitting .277/.361/.504 with 13 homers, 47 RBI, 6 steals, and 46 scores in 296 plate appearances this season.
