Alex McRae starting on Friday for Pittsburgh
Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Alex McRae is getting the start on Friday in the team's game against the St. Louis Cardinals.
McRae is filling in for Joe Musgrove, who was scratched due to foot discomfort. The former was recalled from Triple-A Indianapolis on Thursday, and now he'll take the hill against the division-leading and wicked-hot Cardinals.
Our models project McRae for 5.0 innings pitched, 4.1 strikeouts, 2.4 earned runs and 22.8 FanDuel points this evening.
