Oakland Athletics pitcher Sean Manaea (shoulder, side) threw a bullpen on Thursday.
What It Means:
He is with the team in Kansas City and manager Bob Melvin said Manaea will not pitch in the minors again. "Obviously, there's a good chance we'll see him in September," Melvin said.
He has not pitched this season in the big leagues, but has a 3.21 ERA with 43 strikeouts and 6 walks in 28 innings in Triple-A.
