Cleveland Indians pitcher Carlos Carrasco (leukemia) will be activated by the on Sunday.
Great news! Carrasco has been out since May after being diagnosed with Leukemia. The veteran pitcher has undergone treatment and has been able to return to pitching. He has thrown 3 2/3 innings in the minors and is expected to work as a reliever for Cleveland for the rest of the season.
Carrasco owns a 4.98 ERA, 1.31 WHIP, and 28.7% strikeout rate in 65 innings pitched this season.
