Yoan Moncada (hamstring) returning Thursday for White Sox
Chicago White Sox third baseman Yoan Moncada (hamstring) will be activated off the injured list on Thursday.
What It Means:
Moncada has been on the injured list since July 31 because of a right hamstring strain. The White Sox are optioning Ryan Cordell to the minors in a corresponding roster move.
Moncada is hitting .301/.358/.535 with 20 home runs, 21 doubles, 59 RBI, 58 runs scored, and 7 steals in 409 plate appearances (97 games) for the White Sox this season.
