Mariners' Jake Fraley making MLB debut Wednesday afternoon
Seattle Mariners outfielder Jake Fraley is making his MLB debut in Wednesday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Charlie Morton and the Tampa Bay Rays.
Fraley is replacing Keon Broxton in center field and batting eighth after being called up from Triple-A Tacoma on Tuesday. The 24-year-old was acquired from the Tampa Bay Rays last November and figures to see decent run down the stretch. He slashed .298/.365/.545 with 19 home runs, 80 RBI, 22 steals, and 68 scores between Double-A and Triple-A this year.
