Mets' Aaron Altherr out of Tuesday's lineup
New York Mets outfielder Aaron Altherr is not starting in Tuesday's series opener against right-hander Shane Bieber and the Cleveland Indians.
What It Means:
J.D. Davis is replacing Altherr in the outfield on Tuesday after being held out of the previous two lineups with a mild calf issue.
Altherr is 4-for-29 (.138) in 24 games for the Mets this season.
