Cardinals' Randy Arozarena returning to AAA, Harrison Bader heading up
St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Randy Arozarena will be optioned to Triple-A Memphis and replaced with outfielder Harrison Bader on the active roster.
What It Means:
Arozarena is expected to return to the Cardinals when rosters expand on September 1. Harrison Bader was demoted to Memphis on July 29.
Arozarena went 2-for-8 (.250) with an RBI and 2 strikeouts through his first three games in the majors.
