Oakland Athletics pitcher Brett Anderson (blister) was forced to leave Sunday's matchup against the Houston Astros.
Anderson was removed in the sixth inning after a trainer examined his left hand but it looks like it was mostly for precautionary reasons. As of now, expect the veteran to make his next start.
In 144 innings this season, Anderson has produced a 4.06 ERA and 74 strikeouts.
