Astros' Gerrit Cole (hamstring) 'feeling good'
Houston Astros starting pitcher Gerrit Cole (hamstring) "reports feeling good," according to manager A.J. Hinch.
Cole is still undergoing tests, so there should be a more formal update after the Astros' matchup with the Boston Red Sox on Wednesday afternoon. The right-hander was scratched from a scheduled start Tuesday after tweaking his hamstring during pregame warmups.
Cole is 14-5 in 25 starts this season. He owns a 2.87 ERA and 0.98 WHIP with 226 strikeouts and 39 walks over 156 2/3 innings.
