Tampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Blake Snell will reportedly throw Monday for the first time since undergoing surgery.
Snell had an operation done to remove "loose bodies" from his throwing elbow last month, and he'll play catch Monday to further his recovery. With only six weeks or so remaining in the regular season, the Rays will be hope to get him back in time for a playoff push.
In 101.0 innings pitched this season, Snell has a 4.28 ERA with a 1.25 WHiP.
