Chicago Cubs infielder David Bote is not in the lineup on Sunday in the team's game against the Cincinnati Reds.
Bote is being replaced at second base by Ian Happ against Reds starter Luis Castillo.
In 305 plate appearances this season, Bote has a .257 batting average and a .774 OPS.
