Ross Stripling (neck) shut down for another week by the Dodgers
Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Ross Stripling (neck) has been shut down for another week or so.
Stripling has been out since July 24 with a neck injury and is likley to need a couple more weeks before he is ready to return to the big league roster. When he does, he will be placed in the bullpen, according to manager Dave Roberts.
Stripling owns a 3.64 ERA and 1.17 WHIP with 76 strikeouts and 19 walks in 76 2/3 innings pitched this season.
