Chicago Cubs left fielder Kyle Schwarber is not starting in Thursday's series opener versus the Cincinnati Reds.
Schwarber hit a 3-run homer, drew a walk, and scored a pair of runs on Wednesday in a 10-1 shellacking of the Oakland Athletics. Nick Castellanos is moving to left field Thursday as Schwarber takes a seat against Reds southpaw Alex Wood. Jason Heyward and Albert Almora make up the rest of the Cubs' outfield.
numberFire's models expect Schwarber to record 9 homers, 23 RBI, and 22 runs scored over the rest of the season.
