Yankees' Giancarlo Stanton (knee) resumes baseball activities
New York Yankees outfielder Giancarlo Stanton (knee) has resumed baseball activities.
Stanton has been able to throw and hit off a tee. He's also resumed running on an anti-gravity treadmill. The 29-year-old slugger has been out since late June with a PCL strain in his right knee. He's only played in nine games this season for the Yankees, but it sounds like Stanton will be back before the end of the year.
Stanton is 9-for-31 (.290) with a homer, a double, 7 RBI, and 4 runs scored this season.
