Pete Alonso hitting cleanup for Mets against Miami
New York Mets rookie first baseman Pete Alonso is hitting cleanup in Wednesday afternoon's series finale versus right-hander Jordan Yamamoto and the Miami Marlins.
Alonso hit a home run for the second straight game Tuesday in a shutout of the Marlins while working out of the three-hole. He's hitting .260/.365/.591 with 36 dingers, 81 RBI and 69 runs scored through 480 plate appearances.
