Andrew Heaney (shoulder) expected back for Angels this weekend
Los Angeles Angels pitcher Andrew Heaney (shoulder) is on track to rejoin the rotation this weekend in Boston versus the Red Sox.
Heaney avoided setbacks in a simulated game on Monday, setting him up for a return after being sidelined since mid-July with left shoulder inflammation. It appears the Angels will avoid having the left-hander make a rehab start.
Heaney is 1-3 in nine starts this season. He owns a 5.09 ERA and 1.37 WHIP with 54 punchouts and 19 walks over 46 innings).
