New York Yankees first baseman Luke Voit has been placed on the 10-day IL with a sports hernia.
What It Means:
Voit left Tuesday's game in the fifth inning. He will either need day-to-day treatment or surgery that need a six-month recovery, per WFNA's Sweeny Murti.
