Rangers demote Ronald Guzman to Triple-A
The Texas Rangers optioned first baseman Ronald Guzman to Triple-A Nashville.
Guzman follows Willie Calhoun to Nashville and they could be joined by Nomar Mazara in the near future. Logan Forsythe is starting on first base for the Rangers on Tuesday night versus the Seattle Mariners.
Guzman has hit just .193/.282/.396 with 8 home runs and 29 RBI in 227 plate appearances (68 games) this season for the Rangers.
