Tampa Bay Rays infielder Willy Adames is not in the lineup on Friday in the team's game against the Chicago White Sox.
Adames is being replaced at shortstop by Joey Wendle against White Sox starter Reynaldo Lopez.
In 362 plate appearances this season, Adames has a .241 batting average and a .686 OPS.
