Howie Kendrick sitting for Washington on Thursday
Washington Nationals infielder/outfielder Howie Kendrick is not in the lineup on Thursday in the team's game against the Atlanta Braves.
The Nationals are headed back to a National League ballpark, so they'll lose the designated hitter spot they utilized in Baltimore. As such, Kendrick will head to the bench.
In 240 plate appearances this season, Kendrick has a .327 batting average and a .935 OPS.
