Julio Teheran scratched for Braves Thursday, Kyle Wright now pitching
Atlanta Braves starting pitcher Julio Teheran has been scratched from Thursday's start against right-hander Stephen Strasburg and the Washington Nationals.
Kyle Wright has been recalled from Triple-A Gwinnett to make the start instead. The Braves may just want to give Teheran an extra day of rest.
The 28-year-old right-hander has gone 5-6 in 20 starts. He owns a 3.71 ERA and 1.32 WHIP with 97 strikeouts and 52 walks over 106 2/3 innings.
