Minnesota Twins catcher Mitch Garver is starting on Wednesday afternoon versus left-hander Jason Vargas and the New York Mets.
Garver is replacing Jason Castro at catcher and leading off for the first time since June 2. Martin Perez is pitching for the Twins in this battle of southpaws.
