Erick Fedde starting Wednesday for the Nationals
Washington Nationals pitcher Erick Fedde will be called up from the minors to start Wednesday against the Baltimore Orioles.
The ants will bump Stephen Strasburg back a day to fit Fedde into the rotation. The stay in the big leagues is expected to be a short one as Max Scherzer is expected to be activated off the IL this weekend.
Fedde owns a 3.79 ERA and 1.39 WHIP with 22 strikeouts and 19 walks in 40 1/3 innings pitched this season.
