Minnesota Twins catcher Jason Castro is sitting on Friday in the team's game against the Texas Rangers.
Castro is being replaced behind the plate by Mitch Garver against Rangers starter Adrian Sampson.
In 153 plate appearances this season, Castro has 10 home runs, 21 RBI, a .248 batting average and an .845 OPS.
