Minnesota Twins catcher Mitch Garver is not starting in Thursday's matchup against the Oakland Athletics.
Garver will head to the bench this afternoon with Jason Castro catching against Oakland.
In 147 at-bats this season, Garver is hitting .286 with 12 home runs and 34 RBI.
