Brandon Lowe leaves Rays' win with leg contusion
Tampa Bay Rays second baseman Brandon Lowe was removed from Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Baltimore Orioles with a right leg contusion.
Lowe left shortly after fouling a ball off his right leg in the bottom of the sixth inning. X-rays came back negative, so it appears to be a day-to-day issue. He finished 3-for-3 with a home run and 2 RBI in the victory.
Lowe is batting .276/.339/.523 with 16 home runs, 17 doubles, 49 RBI, 40 runs scored, and 5 steals in 307 plate appearances (76 games) this season.
