Chicago Cubs infielder Javier Baez is starting in Monday's series opener versus right-hander Trevor Williams and the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Baez is back on shortstop and batting cleanup after being held out of Sunday's start. Addison Russell is moving to second base, sending Daniel Descalso to the bench.
