Chicago Cubs infielder Addison Russell is not starting in Thursday afternoon's series finale versus the Atlanta Braves.
Russell is being replaced at second base by Daniel Descalso on Thursday afternoon. He went 2-for-3 with a walk drawn and a strikeout on Wednesday.
