Indians' Corey Kluber (arm) could resume throwing this week

Cleveland Indians starting pitcher Corey Kluber (arm) could resume throwing later this week, per president of operations Chris Antonetti.

What It Means:

Kluber will undergo a series of MRIs this week to determine if the non-displaced fracture of his ulna bone has healed. The 33-year-old right-hander has been on the injured list since May 3 after getting hit by a line drive two days prior.

Kluber is 2-3 in seven starts this season. He owns a 5.80 ERA and 1.65 WHIP with 38 strikeouts and 15 walks across 35 2/3 innings.
